BlackBerry has long been a well known smart phone provider carried by powerful executives and countless celebrities. Another helpful feature found in the BlackBerry Pearl is its translucent trackball. This mechanism makes it possible to scroll both horizontally as well as vertically. This is different to previous BlackBerry smartphones which relied more on the traditional scroll wheel. Another unique feature is the ability to change the colour of the backlighting behind the trackball. With the Pearl, this backlighting can be programmed to change colours depending upon the contact that is trying to either business calls, text or email you.
The BlackBerry Pearl, features the BlackBerry Operating System 5.0. This operating system makes it much easier to communicate via email and messages. The Blackberry Pearl comes with a built-in camera which has a resolution of 3.2 megapixels. Music is also handled by the media player provided as well as many other formats such as iTunes and Windows Player. The Pearl makes it easy to download and install apps.
